we are not your basic ij rp game. our setting is slightly au with all the bands on the same winter tour known as the wicked end tour. think of it like warped tour, taste of chaos, all stars tour, etc.
journal names should be the characters name, try not to have extra letters, numbers, or under scores (ex:ryseaman). aim screennames should have the character's name in there somewhere (ex:tayriecurrie)
show some sort of activity by posting in your journal or the random community every week or so. we want this to be a lot like tumblr so "updates" aren't required. we want to see lots of pictures and gifs posted.
ooc/ic. if you know something ooc, your character does not. ic arguments are fine, ooc arguments are not. if you're having a problem with being harassed ooc for any reason, please come to us immediately and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. furthermore, there is no godmodding, you control your characters, and only your characters, don't force things on other people. this is a game, we want to have fun. if you're not going to let us have fun, you don't get to play.
please have a public 'friends only' entry up on your journal BEFORE you apply. most people use a gif or a funny image for theirs along with a link to the community/asylum - stream here is an example. after that, all entries should be locked/friends only.
when accepted, you will be allowed to post in dashboards for introduction posts and timelines for out of character posts. please use both sparingly! too many out of character posts can get annoying, and frankly, no one really cares. if you need to talk to someone about something out of character im them or leave a comment in the drop box!
realism. obviously this is not an entirely realistic game, HOWEVER, stay within the limitations of the world we live in. for example lions and otters are illegal to own without very special permits, and if you're in the hospital because of alcohol poisoning, you're not going on stage that night. we don't ask you be an expert on the topic, but basic research would be delightful. on that note, try to be true to your character. straight edge guys don't smoke, sober guys don't drink. furthermore, as stated, we're here to have fun. people who flood the friend's page with obnoxious things like threatens to drink yourself to death or something attention seeking about how you're so drugged out will be removed.
